Matilda Duncan (also known by her stage name Kate Bay) has been working as a performer and singer-songwriter since high school in 2017. Originally from Townsville, QLD, this accomplished guitarist and vocalist has performed at an impressive range of events — from weddings and residencies on private island resorts to keeping the dance floor alive at local pubs well into the early hours.

With this level of versatility, audiences can expect a dynamic mix of songs spanning multiple decades and styles, delivered across a variety of performance formats including solo, duo, and full band setups.

Matilda’s original music has seen her tour nationally in support of some of Australia’s most well-known artists, including The Rubens, Thirsty Merc, Katie Noonan, Kim Churchill, and many more. Now based in Melbourne, she continues to release original material while performing weekly as Kate Bay at venues throughout the inner suburbs.
